CLAY STUDIO MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP

​

• ​$150 Monthly membership covers 30 days of studio membership. 

• Safety Contract/Waiver is required to be signed. 

• It  is encouraged for each member to purchase their own basic tool kit. 

• You may work in the studio anytime during our open studio hours, members who reserved space have seating priority.

• Each bag of clay is $30. Only studio high fire clay and high fire glazes are permitted (Cone 5-6).

• This is for independent work only, there is no instruction beyond basic questions on studio operations. You must have basic knowledge of working with clay slab and the associated tools or  schedule a private lesson with the studio manager to teach you the basics. 

• You may work in the studio anytime during our studio open hours.

• We ask that you schedule/project your visits to reserve your space and to help manage the number of people in the studio at a given time. Scheduling sheets will be available in the studio for sign ups or you can call the Studio Manager too book.

• You have access to all Studio clay slab & wheel tools and materials in the studio.

• One bisque firing and one glaze firing for up to 12 pounds of bisqueware is included in the monthly membership. 

• Bisque Firing will follow a schedule of the 2nd Wednesday of each month, with a Glaze Firing being the 3rd Wednesday of each month. 

• Additional firings required beyond the standard 12 pounds of bisque per month may be scheduled at an  additional $.05 per cubic inch per firing or $50 a load.

• The studio reserves the right to reschedule firings if there is not enough product to go into the kiln.

• The Studio is following all CDC guidelines
